Dental Office

A collaborative effort between O'Connor Hospital and Bassett Healthcare, the Bassett Healthcare Delhi - Dental Office opened in August 2005. Recognizing that lack of dental services is one of the most urgent healthcare problems in Delaware County, O'Connor Hospital incorporated a dental suite and equipment into its hospital renovation project completed in May 2005. The new dental facility, located on the first floor of the hospital, includes three exam rooms outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and a brand-new dental lab.

Through an ongoing partnership, Bassett Healthcare provides full-time staff and manages the dental practice.

The Bassett Healthcare Delhi - Dental Office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It offers general dentistry services for both children and adults. Primary dental care includes preventive dental exams and cleanings, fluoride treatments, application of sealant and dental X-rays. Basic dental restorative work - including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, dentures and bridges - are also available.

The practice serves patients with and without insurance, including Medicaid. Excellus and CDPHP Child Health Plus are accepted. For patients with non-participating plans, the practice provides a form for the patient to submit to their insurance company.
